R-507 is a mixture of hydrofluorocarbon refrigerants HFC-125 and HFC-143a. It is an azeo-trope, nonflammable, and has no ozone depletion potential. These properties make it acandidate refrigerant for applications where safety and consis-tency of performance are needed.
R507 is an HFC replacement option for R-22 and R-502 in low and medium-temperature commercial refrigeration systems. It can be used in new and existing systems, and provides very similar performance to R-502 over the entire operating range.
